Q1. How do I install Windows OS for the barebones version?

Q2. Brand of SSD and RAM in UM790 Pro

We purchase essential hardware from different brands based on the same technical specifications, including SSDs, Wi-Fi cards, RAM, hard drives, power supplies, etc. Due to the limited resources and brands of RAM and SSD, we choose Samsung, Kingston, Crucial, Adata, Phison, etc. as our RAM and SSD suppliers.

Each piece of hardware has passed a rigorous quality inspection and met factory standards before being delivered to Minisforum. In addition, there are no differences in the warranty policies of these hardware suppliers.

Hardware brands may vary from batch to batch, but rest assured that they all meet Minisforum standards and are covered by warranty.

Q3. What is the maximum resolution? How many monitors can be connected at the same time?

Up to four monitors can be connected simultaneously, with a maximum resolution of 8K@60Hz.

Q4. Can I power the UM790 Pro via the USB4 ports?

The USB4 ports on the UM790 Pro support power delivery and can be used as a power supply port.

Q5. Does it support eGPU?

The UM790 Pro supports eGPU. Please contact the eGPU docking station manufacturer to learn more about device compatibility.

Q6. Is Windows pre-installed on the UM790 Pro?

All versions except the barebones version come with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. The barebones version does not include any RAM or SSD, so Windows 11 Pro is not pre-installed.

Q1: How long is the warranty for refurbished products?

For orders of refurbished products we offer a one-year warranty from receipt of the goods.

Q2: Do I need to pay the shipping fee and tax for the product?

Our products are delivered free of charge, but if your delivery address is a non-EU country, then we recommend you to buy a "duty free shipping". The duty is already paid when importing the product, so you do not have to pay extra.

Q3: What should I do if I still receive an invoice from Fedex after purchasing duty free shipping?

We have taken care of all taxes for you if you buy the "Duty Free Shipping" service. However, there may be cases where you need to make your own customs declaration or pay additional taxes due to procedural errors. Don't worry, our solution is as follows,
